Game Art & Development

The Game Art and Development class focuses on the Artistic and technical aspects of creating concept art, assets, Level design, cut scene or in-game cinematic and trailer output or teaser Video for games. The student can choose if they want To use 2D or 3D software to submit their work. There will be basic coding or scripting but no heavy game programming. The class is more into the creative side of the game and learning the knowledge and skills to make it work with the technical side of game development.

Game Art and Development class includes introduction to the fundamentals of game design such as game mechanics, story, and user experience; Concept Art- creating initial sketches and illustrations to visualize game characters, environments, and assets; Storyboarding and Scripting- developing storyboards and scripts to outline the narrative and gameplay flow; Character Design- Designing characters, including their appearance, personality, and backstory; Game animation and to final game teaser or trailer as the thesis.
Our Game Art and Development class provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the game development process, from initial concept to final product. This class is ideal for those interested in careers in the game industry, including roles such as game artist, animator, level designer, and game developer.
